Berseria felt like a bandaid to that god awful Zestiria. Both games are great but Vesperia just seems to offer so much more in all categories. I'm currently on hard difficulty and my GOD there is 0 hand holding and if you save at certain spots and you can't go back you are totally screwed. Tales of Berseria released in Japan earlier this year, but North American players will be able to get their hands on it early next year. As ever, there's a pricey collector's edition of the game available as well. It really makes you take a look at each boss and try and learn its mechanics and do the secret missions for a challenge. Tales of Berseria will arrive for PC and PlayStation 4 on 27th January in Europe, or 24th January in North America. Vesperia though has some pretty crazy enemies and chain stagger is annoying as it is deadly/scary. 3 It was released in Japan for PlayStation 3 & PlayStation 4 in mid-August 2016, 4 and was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 & Windows in late January 2017. It got the point where it was pretty boring gameplay with velvet because she could solo anything. It is the sixteenth main entry in the Tales series and a prequel of Tales of Zestiria. Gameplay tho Berseria is obviously way more fluid but damn is it easy even on the hardest difficulty just RT velvet EVERYTHING and you're unkillable with chain stun procs. It's a shame I feel like they could have made way more games out of vesperia's world than bers/zest.

Story wise I really like Berseria but I kinda hate the world it was in, maybe because of zestiria? lol Vesperia's world is amazing with guilds for all kinds of things and an empire etc.
